Pilgrim Republic - Ukraine
Children - The most vulnerable population in Ukraine now:
Pilgrim Republic Children’s Home has been a place of safety and restoration for vulnerable children in Ukraine for more than two decades. Founded by Pastor Gennadiy Mokhnenko and the local church community, the ministry began by reaching children living on the streets and those affected by abuse, addiction, and abandonment. Before the war, Pilgrim Republic was the largest children’s rehabilitation center in Ukraine, providing holistic care and a pathway to healing for hundreds of at-risk children.
In 2022, the war forced the ministry to evacuate its longtime home in Mariupol. The children and staff were displaced and had to rebuild their lives and ministry in a new region of the country. Today, Pilgrim Republic operates on a new property in western Ukraine, where they continue caring for orphaned and vulnerable children while restoring their community.
The campus serves as both a full-time orphanage and a center for outreach. Throughout the year, it hosts summer camps, church retreats, and community gatherings that offer encouragement, discipleship, and a sense of belonging. Each child receives comprehensive care including education, counseling, medical support, nutritious meals, and spiritual guidance.
Your support helps provide stability, healing, and hope for children who have already endured so much.
